+: Great place to stay, highly recommend it if you want some peace and quiet, whilst still being able to enjoy the city of Lamai at your own pace.

-: The resort is quite pricy, which we knew upfront and were okay with. However we were surprised about the costs for services you could get at the resort. Food was very extensive and definitely not always that great, relative to the price they are asking. I also don't get why they use the small letters to state that prices are exclusing 10% service fee and 7% VAT. Feels like they are sneakingly trying to add another almost 20% to the rates. However, a lot of places seem to do this, very strange.

+: Superb staff and scenery

+: Das Frühstück war außerordentlich gut, es gibt ein Buffet, KaffeeTee, sowie Eier und andere Speisen können direkt beim Personal bestellt werden und werden frisch zubereitet. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich, es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

+: One of the best boutique hotels I have stayed in. Exceptional service - the staff has the ability to anticipate your desires and answer to them before you even ask the question :). The food was delicious and the room had a beautiful view to the ocean. We stayed in a two-bedroom seaside bungalow.

+: We really enjoyed our stay in Rocky's Boutique Resort. The rooms are spacious and clean, the view out to the ocean was amazing and the staff is very attentive in making you feel comfortable during your stay. The location, albeit being a bit remote from Lamai, is well maintained and the garden areas and facilities make you feel very welcome and relaxed. We also really liked the food offered. Not only was the breakfast delicious and provided many options for all kinds of tastes, but we wholeheartedly recommend trying out the different delicious foods offered in the hotel restaurant. Also, picking us up and bringing us back to the airport with one of the hotel vans was very convenient and took a lot of organisational stress out of the equation.

-: There is unfortunately a constructions site directly next to the hotel. Obviously, this is not the Resort's fault, but during the day you could sometimes hear the noise which was unfortunate when using the bottom pool. However, at the top one, it was quiet and comfortable.

+: Super nettes Personal. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit schönem Blick aufs Meer.

+: Really nice pool (top one was our preference). Access to beach from resort. Great staff. Can hire new mopeds from reception. Very nice hotel.

-: Property itself is great. Check what you are looking for before booking. If you’re after lounging around a pool, this is great. If you want markets etc. we found Fisherman’s Village to the north of the island to be the best spot (40 min drive from the hotel one way).
