The beachfront Woraburi Phuket Resort & Spa boasts stunning ocean and landscaped views. The resort features a Thai-architectures throughout and provides free parking and WiFi. Bright and spacious, rooms feature ample seating area and large windows that let in much fresh air. They come with satellite TV, a personal safe and a minibar. Featuring sea, pool or garden views, selected room types also comes with direct pool access. Woraburi Phuket is located a 15-minute drive from Patong Beach, 20 minutes from Chalong Temple and 30 minutes from Phuket Town. Phuket International Airport is located approximately a 1-hour drive away. The large outdoor pool stays open all year and has its own swim-up bar. The resort’s tour desk can also organise excursions for those who wish to explore the area and there is also a free shuttle service to Patong beach. International dishes, Asian specialities and a daily buffet breakfast are served at Smile Coffee Shop. Refreshing beverages are served at Silk Bar, the Pool Bar and the Lobby Lounge. Room rates on 31 December include a gala dinner.

+: Nice hotel and great location, near lots of shops and restaurants and right across from the beach. It is slightly dated as many hotels in Thailand are but that kind of adds to its charm. We chose a junior suite; the room and bathroom was huge and we had a sea view balcony. Nice swimming pool in a unique shape (though this did create issues, see negatives below). Breakfast and in fact other food we had at the hotel was was good. Staff were great.
-: As I said slightly dated and whilst that's charming on the one hand it does give rise to a few maintenence issues that could do with being addressed. The tiles around the swimming pool in many places were missing or broken, some of the structure of the exterior needs replacing, there is quite a significant ant problem round the pool. The pool set up, though it looks lovely, does mean that when busy there are insufficient loungers for everyone who wants them. That said it was not a big enough problem that it would stop me staying there as overall our stay was really good.

+: The beach across the road was good
-: The breakfast was pretty average, no bacon at all and not much breakfast type foods. The housekeeper didn’t understand a word I said and would forget coffee, pool towels etc. the tv had no English speaking channels and the channels were fuzzy. I asked 3 times for someone to come and help with it but they would come, take a picture of tv then disappear. Cleaner was in and out in 5 minutes. Receptionist was better and could understand when I spoke. Bar guy was miserable but probably paid peanuts. Karon its self is old and needs more. Kata is the place to be with more to see and eat etc.

+: location of the propert is good.. This hotel although is a bit outdated but it has a good ambience. Very good value for money. I would stay here again.
