+: The property is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location - right in the middle of a busy area but down a quiet side street, close to the main tourist sites of Istanbul. Good transport links, tram, metro and ferry.Nice clean room and bathroom.Lovely staff, very welcoming.Breakfast is wonderful - please try the poached eggs!Would recommend this hotel.

-: I guess the view from our room wasn’t much of anything but we were out sightseeing all day so of no bother to us.

+: Doručak jednostavan, raznovrstan, ali dovoljan. Može se na zahtjev dobiti svježe pripremljen obrok, npr. omlet raznih vrsta. Osoblje iznimno uslužno i prijateljsko, čak su nam na odlasku pomogli vući kofere do taksija koji je zbog gužve parkirao 200 m dalje od hotela. WiFi odličan. Ulica relativno mirna, prozori zadržavaju svu buku, a imaju i zavjese kojima se soba može potpuno zamračiti. Klimatizacija samostalna, može se regulirati. Kućne papuče i ogrtači. Najveća dobrobit je mali hladnjak u koji se može smjestiti vlastito piće i hrana. Kreveti udobni. Tramvaj oko 200 m, a Marmaray 100 m od hotela. Mnoštvo restorana u okolici.

-: Povremeno buka pod prozorom u rano jutro jer je preko puta neko skladište, ali kad se zatvori prozor ne čuje se ništa. Inače sve u redu.

+: If I had to use only one word to describe Barbera hotel, "exceptional" would be it. Although the hotel is located right in the middle of a hectic and touristy area, the corner on which the hotel is situated is quiet. The sound proofing is so good that we didn't even realize that there was a construction site not far from the hotel. We were overwhelmed by the welcome we received, and the hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was really good, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the selection of dishes changed during our stay. There is plenty of other nice stuff about the hotel that I'm maybe forgetting, but what we'll never forget is the amazing hotel staff. Everyone, including the owner of the hotel, were genuinely welcoming, friendly, and super helpful. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. And it really did feel like they are doing it not because it's their job, but because they are all really nice people. I won't name anyone by name, because I don't have their permission, but a huge and heart-felt thank you to each and everyone of them for making our stay an unforgettable experience!

+: C’est la troisième fois que je viens dans cet adorable hôtel. Le patron Mr. EMRE super gentil et très accueillant, tout le personnel de l’Hôtel très agréable et a votre écoute. Les chambres sont jolie, propre et très confortable. Les photos correspondent bien aux chambres de cet hôtel. Emplacement idéal, 2 pas de métro Marmaray et 2 pas vers la station de tramway T1. Je recommande fortement cet endroit magnifique ❤️

+: This is a small boutique hotel in an excellent location in Istanbul, close to all the major tourist sites and the Bosphorus. The host (sorry we lost his business card and therefore name) on arrival, and each evening, was amazing. Friendly and able to offer loads of advice, from places to visit, restaurants and what to do and not to do. It was a pleasure to return each evening to his friendly welcome. The rooms are small but perfectly formed. Our room, 301, had a small balcony with views of the Bosphorus (something you will pay a lot for in other hotels). I think 301 and 303 are the ones to pick for the balcony and views. Breakfast each morning was excellent with Murat and Sena fantastic hosts. Buffet and a choice of freshly cooked offerings. We tried something new each day.

-: Nothing. Don't be put off by the car park opposite. It in no way impacts on the hotel or your stay. Around the corner in all directions you are in the heart of Istanbul.
