Right in the middle of trendy Tunel-Galata area, Daru Sultan is 350 metres to the iconic Galata Tower. +: The room was nice, and the bed and duvet were very comfortable. The complimentary Turkish breakfast was excellent as well as the tea and filtered coffee. The hotel was located in a great spot by the highway, but the soundproof windows held out any noise. Great view of the water from our third-floor window. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel and Galata tower was a five-minute walk up the street. I'm a jazz nut so I always grab a show at the Nardis Jazz Club. It is located down a side street off the tower. The Metro is just outside the door. Recommend getting a metro pass to travel around the city. Ugur was a great help giving us direction back to the train station at Sogutlucecme using Metro and Autobus. Thanks!

+: The hotel is fantastic: beautiful, super well located with an excellent view of the Galata Tower. The Turkish breakfast is very good, and the experience of having it on a terrace with a beautiful city view is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, doing everything they can to make guests feel good. I mainly highlight the reception staff, especially Yucel (Ycel? - I hope I spelt his name correctly because he deserves a mention)
-: I don't have anything negative to say. However, the elegant decoration of the rooms and reception contrasts with the breakfast room's lack of care and good taste.

+: Hotel was located very central, easy access to metro and taxis. Walking decent to the Galata tower and many shops and restaurants. ATMs right in front of the hotel. The rooms and facilities were excellent. Bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve experienced. The decor was amazing, very on theme. The staff at the hotel were lovely. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

+: Very comfy bed. Nice toom amd design. Lovely touch with historic book inside the room. Loved the tv design inside the mirror. Great views from our room of bospurus and also from breakfast area All staff so friendly and helpful. Great location close to galata or sishane station. They went the extra mile on reception and breakfast staff to bring some food when we eas leaving early fir airport. Even when we come back at night to hotel offering us coffee and water. Made to feel very welcome
-: I prefer breakfast I can choose from myself rather than the waiters bring you a selection, but that is only because I am a fussy eater. The breakfast was still lovely
