+: During my last trip to Zanzibar, I had the pleasure of staying at the charming Clove Island Hotel, a true gem located in the picturesque village of Makunduchi. This hotel attracts with its peaceful atmosphere and is an excellent place for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Upon entering my room for the first time, I was greatly impressed by its spaciousness and elegant design. My room was not only beautifully arranged but also equipped with an effectively working air conditioning system, which is invaluable in Zanzibar's hot climate. The room's window offered a breathtaking view of the blue waters of the Indian Ocean, and the sound of the waves brought a deep sense of relaxation. The cleanliness in my room was of the highest standard. Everything was fresh and immaculately clean, making me feel very comfortable. The tranquility that prevailed at Clove Island was a true blessing for those seeking respite. The hotel's location was also very advantageous - it is situated a short distance from the popular towns of Paje and Jambiani, which made it easy to explore local attractions.

+: I couldn't imagine a better place for a getaway than Clove Island hotel in Zanzibar. Situated on the frontline of the coast, it offers an incredible view of the blue Indian Ocean that takes your breath away at any time of the day. Upon arrival, I immediately felt the atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel at home from the very beginning of my stay. The rooms were spacious, elegant, and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable sleep and a moment of relaxation after a day full of adventures. One of the biggest assets of Clove Island hotel is its restaurant, where exquisite dishes made from local ingredients are served. These dishes not only tempt the taste buds but also the sense of smell and creative presentation. The opportunity to enjoy meals with the sound of the ocean in the background makes the experience even more magical. Overall, Clove Island hotel met all my expectations and even exceeded them. It is the perfect place for those seeking relaxation in a paradise setting, enjoying luxury, the beauty of nature, and the warm hospitality of the staff. I will definitely return here many times.

+: Beautiful and quiet area, the hotel very nicely designed, a combination of Swahili and European style. we used the hotel restaurant, we enjoyed the food very much and did not ruin our budget. Peronel was very nice and helpful to us, thank you!

+: Schön eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr ruhige Lage, keine Strandverkäufer, sehr saubere Pool Umgebung

-: Sehr teure Getränke (teils fast gleich teuer wie das Essen), sehr schlechte Internet Verbindung, die Bettwäsche und Frottetücher hatten Flecken, Strand ist nicht schön zum baden.

+: Die Bungalow-Anlage ist wirklich 1zu1 wie auf den Bildern. Klein, ruhig, sauber total gepflegt mit super freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und das Essen am Mittag oder Abend wirklich lecker und frisch zubereitet. Jeden Abend wird das Moskitonetz ums Bett entfaltet und es wird gesprüht( sehr gut riechend) Eine Anlage zum relaxen und die Seele baumeln lassen.

-: Sehr sehr abgelegen, somit keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder Restaurantbesuche ohne Taxi möglich.Leider ist der Strand durch Ebbe und Flut mit Seegras gefüllt was sich dann mit der Kombination Sonne und Wärme in einem fischigen Geruch bemerkbar macht.Leider ist der Strand von Plastik und Müll übersät.

-: Site is quite remote with not a lot to do in the evening and unsure how safe it was to venture outside the hotel grounds
