Serena Mivumo River Lodge is a boutique lodge set on the banks of the Rufiji River in Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve. This riverside lodge offers an outdoor pool and sun terrace.
All units are air conditioned and include a seating area. Rooms are equipped with a minibar and kettle, and each unit is fitted with a private bathroom featuring a bath or shower. Slippers and free toiletries are supplied for you comfort.

+: A week after our stay here, it’s still hard to put into words how to sum up our safari with Serena. From the moment we arrived at the airstrip to the moment were dropped off, Able, our guide, took great care of us. He was highly professional, highly knowledgeable, his tracking abilities are extraordinary and took us on an experience we’ll never forget. It was just the two of us for the 5 days with Able, so it felt very personalised. We also took an evening and morning boat down the river where we were rewarded with even more incredible experiences! Boatman Zak’s knowledge and spotting skills were also first class. Back at the river lodge, the staff couldn’t do enough for us and our meals overlooking the river were unforgettable. Our lodge was so spacious and extremely comfortable and we loved the outside shower
