+: Good pricecomfortlocation ratio. 15 minutes walk to two metro and bus station. A lot of small restaurants and shops everywhere.

+: Most of the staff is positive and smiling.

-: Bathrooms are dangerous, no shower door and no floor matt. Stains on the bed sheets and pillows. Windows do not close properly and it's extremely noisy. Guests making noise starting from 4am and nothing you can do about it. Breakfast... Parts that are supposed to be hot, were totally cold, the menu does not consider international travellers at all. I wouldn't even call it breakfast. It's better not to serve it at all. Worst coffee we've ever had - in a country of an amazing coffee! I have no clue how this hotel got 3 stars! We had planned 7 night stay there, and stayed only 1 night. We decided to change the hotel with booking.com authorization. We were told that booking.com will speak with the hotel to get partial refund for the 'unused' nights which is fair. It didn't happen and won't happen. So beware - if you book your stay in this hotel and decide to move somewhere else you will never get your money back, neither from the hotel nor booking.com. We've been offered another room - less noisy in theory, but the overall standard were exactly the same, so what's the point of it. Please, do yourself a favor if you want to enjoy an amazing Dubai, its food and culture, and do NOT stay in "Garden City Hotel Dubai".
