+: Basic apartment that is more like a hotel room with a small kitchenette. There are 3 old pots and pans, a small stove, fridge, and some cutlery. There are no spoons or spatulas to stir around your food. There are no sponges, rags, teatowels, or dishsoap. There is no light by the kitchenette, you can use the light of the bathroom. There is no microwave or oven. There are three beds in the room, a dining table (no lights) a dresser, and closet space. The bathroom has warm water, and a bathtub. Housekeeping comes every day to give fresh sheets, replace toiletpaper and fresh towels. I had balcony with great view of the pool of the neighboring hotel. There is wifi but the data speeds drop significantly in the evenings when everyone is watching tv. There is only one router in the whole building. There is a smart tv with netflixyoutube etc. The screen is very dim. It cannot be changed. Not sure what is wrong. The apartment is walking distance to the beach and the main part of faliraki. There are quite a few busstops around to take you elsewhere.
-: Nothing but lies and false promises.I was checked in by two children who took me to a neighboring unmarked building that had hotel rooms. I went back to the reception to tell them that I paid for an apartment, not a hotel room. They said that tomorrow they will have an apartment, tonight is only one night in the hotel. As a compensation they offered me I could swim in the pool of the neighbors. I just had to purchase a drink. Or, I could eat dinner there, I just had to pay twelve euros for it.The next morning I packed up my bags, went to the reception, then was told that there was no apartment available. They said tomorrow, there will be 5 apartments available. The next morning I packed up my bags and went to the reception. There were no apartments available. I told them I had paid for an apartment, 4 months ago. They said, maybe tomorrow there will be an apartment.I was tired of packing up my things every day so I asked if I could stay in the hotel room. They said yes. They offered me to eat at the neighboring property for free as a compensation. The next day they said I had to check out the hotel room. It was booked by someone else.I told them I prefer to stay until the end of my trip. They said yes, that's ok.The next day I got a message that I cannot stay. I had a lady come to my room with a written note telling me I had to leave. I asked what is correct. Can I stay or no? They said, talk to the owner the next day, he will be at the reception.I went to the reception on day 9 out of my 14 day trip, a man was there, and he finally gave me an apartment. I asked if he was the owner, he said no no no, I am nobody. The hotel I stayed in for 9 days has no wifi, there is little to no phone service inside the building. To use wifi or your phone you need to go on the balcony. If the hotel is overbooked or you have a flawed booking system, that can happen.
