+: Staff on reception were great and the location is fantastic on the beach.

-: Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are very basic and not finished to a high standard, the breakfast selection is average at best and the coffee is some of the worst I have ever had, and most annoyingly, you have to pay for sun beds on the beach as a resident of the hotel!

-: Pas de parking, on nous explique qu’on peut se garer sur le bord de la route si on trouve de la place mais que ce n’est pas vraiment autorisé…Le buffet du petit déjeuner n’est vraiment pas bon. Que du café soluble, jus de fruit en poudre…

+: Reception staff are excellent and very helpful. cleaners always greet you with a smile. The beach is a few steps down and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas at 5 euros and abillity to order from the barresturant. pool is kept clean but beds get "toweled" early and very few beds so be quick as these are free. 5050 sunbedsbeanbags. Close to the main road and all the bars and resturants. rooms are very nice and when i looked at previous reviews they were negative but after a day of arriving i found out that the hotel had been purchased earlier in the year (2024) so undergoing a revamp. This includes the resturant and reception being changed round during the off season. Google earth shows how the pool used to look but they made it so more sunbeds but still not enough. WIFI not in all rooms but most but certainly good in reception, pool and beach area.

-: Despite breakfast starting 7am some of the items were still not put out. Fried eggs were left on the hot plate for so long they had gone very hard. Food choice was limited, i know i'm in greece but 80-90% seemed to be greek which unfortunatly swimming in olive oil. Salads were limited no colslaw or potato salad but the ingredients like shredded cabbage in a bowl. bread put out but no butter, i had to ask sometimes. No fresh juice but squash and the drip tray often overflowed. Good selection of fresh fruit but sometimes left on the cool plate which when not set correctly froze the friut to the tray. The number of guests did not always show in the resturant so a lot of food went to waste. No ice cream. Most hotels around the world have a hotplate cooking station just for Breakfast and sometimes a chef or self serve, so eggs, omlettes or scrambled eggs cooked fresh by the chef or the guests. The pool area was nice but while on holiday it's nice to chill by the pool and put your ear buds in and listen to your music. Unfortunatly the hotel music system insists on putting their own music on at, frankly an annoyingly loud level to drown out what you wanted to hear. When i asked, i was told "it's what the owners want". So, the same music everyday. Even on the beach it reaches you. They have a Yoga session some mornings so i can understand but turn it off or down when finished. Come the evening the bar is empty exept for a couple of guests despite laying on entertainment. Personally i suspect it is the price of the bar. A large Beer is 7euros when the bar at the end of the road is 5 euros. After a week or two and maybe a family, it adds up. I was hospitalised for a week in Chania hospital nearly 2 months earlier while staying in Kissamos. I wanted to cancel but not allowed, despite nearly 2 months notice. Check your cancellation policy and remember your Ghic or Ehic card

+: Chrispy Beach is all we could have asked for and more. The premises itself has been pristine , comfortable & perfectly located feet from the warm clear sea. The staff have been profession courteous & sincerely welcoming & warm. That is everyone from at reception , housekeeping , breakfast staff plus the pool & bar staff and the lady in the mini market . I would highly recommend this hotel experience to anyone considering staying in the Chania location in Crete.my son & I Hope to come again. Thank you.

-: The Phone in the room didn’t work & I mentioned it at reception on my first day & no one did a thing about it. The water wasn’t working the day before we left, no shower or running water.

+: Nagyon jó helyen van, változatos ételek,kedves személyzet, tisztaság .nagyon jó telt a 10 nap amit ott töltöttünk. Jó közlekedés a város felé.

+: Le personnel à toujours été dispo et prêt à nous aider et ça avec le sourire, LE POINT FORT CE SONT EUX ! Bon emplacement, vu mer lorsqu'on est a la piscine c'est sublime. Bon cocktail

-: Nous avons passé 12 jours sans dormir, la literie est une CATASTROPHE, elle est si dur !! Nous avons regretté l'hôtel pour nos nuits, nous n'avons pas su nous reposer du tout. Pas de miroir en chambre, du jamais vu, je me coiffé sans miroir ! 1 Miroir en salle de bain mais sans prise ? Chambre pas très propre et nous entendions toutes les conversations de dehors. La salle de sport est inexistante et tout été en mauvais état, sans poids libre.. enfin nous n'avons pas pu en profiter, déçu! Petit déjeuner très petit et pas qualitatif, nous n'avons même pas eu de fruit la première semaine.. Honnêtement, 4* ? Au vu du prix quelle déception
