Цей 4-зірковий готель ідеально розташований навпроти золотого піщаного пляжу лише за 6 км на схід від міста Ретимно. У помешканні панує атмосфера справжньої критської гостинності. До послуг гостей усі сучасні зручності для комфортного відпочинку.
Номери готелю Syntopia оформлені в строгому стилі та мають власний балкон із видом на гори або басейн. Серед інших зручностей - безкоштовний бездротовий доступ до Інтернету, супутникове телебачення і холодильник.
У помешканні є ресторан у приміщенні та просто неба, снек-бар і плавальний басейн.
Ретимно є одним із найбільш важливих історичних міст Криту, що пов'язане з Венецією та її Старим містом. Тут працюють різноманітні туристичні й сувенірні крамниці.
+: Das Hotel bietet viele Annehmlichkeiten und das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und sehr sehr freundlich. Uns hat besonders das tolle Frühstück gefallen und einige der Mitarbeitenden waren extrem lieb.
-: Für unseren Geschmack ist die Lage des Hotels nicht so schön, da dort wenig Natur in der Nähe ist. Außerdem hatten wir das Problem, dass im Oktober viele Mücken in unser Zimmer gekommen sind, da es leider keine Fliegennetze gab.

+: One of the best hotels where I had the opportunity to stay. Everything was excellent. I would like to especially mention the staff who make every guest feel like a VIP, also the food that was very delicious and of high quality throughout all our stay (food assortment was huge), and of course, the design of the hotel. +: The aesthetics and cleanliness are second to none. The staff are great, with a couple of exceptions.
-: Months before we paid for our holiday, I checked whether as vegans, we would be well catered for with the all-inclusive package. After initially getting no reply, I followed up and was told that there are lots of vegan options on the buffet and not to worry. As we are very laid back, we made do, however the member of staff at the snack bar continuously lied about not having ingredients for the only vegan option and would then begrudgingly make the item for us. Because of this, we simply stopped asking.The buffet has some options, however, there were a lot of things that could have been left vegan but they then had last minute cheese, meat or seafood garnishing them. There is a meat and cheese bar always available should you wish to do this yourself.As all-inclusive guests, you are able to book a lunch basket to take out the next day with you, should you wish to explore the island. We booked ours, with our room number and dietary preference. The next morning we picked up our lunch basket and drove 2 hours to our destination. On opening the basket, the contents were: 2x bottles of water, 2x juice cartons, 2x pears, 2x apples, 2x brown sandwiches, 2x white sandwiches. The fruit was wrapped in cling wrap (?!) which really doesn't align with the ethical premise of Syntopia. The bread for the sandwiches was stale and dry and must have been what was out at breakfast. The filling of the sandwiches was simply one slice of Gouda - not vegan Gouda - and a 1 inch square piece of lettuce. Nothing else. We find it hard to believe that guests with no dietary preferences would be satisfied with this. We had to go and purchase lunch on top of the cost of our "All-inclusive" holiday. Whilst we were out for the day I contacted the hotel to ask about this, and they said it had been mixed up, with a smiley face emoji to follow.

+: Modernes Boho-Hotel mit Liebe zum Detail. Wir hatten All inclusive und waren vom wechselnden Buffet sehr begeistert. Die Auswahl ist groß, somit sollte jeder etwas finden. Cocktails (mit Ausnahmen) waren inbegriffen. Es gab 3 Pools, einer davon bei der Rooftop-Bar. War alles sehr gemütlich und einladend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Whirlpool aufm Balkon und Meerblick, das können wir nur jedem empfehlen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Service bekam man auch an den Liegen am jeweiligen Pool. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung im gemütlichen und modernen Boho-Stil sucht ist hier genau richtig - gerade auch, da es ein Erwachsenenhotel ist.Es war in allen Bereichen sehr sauber.
-: Wer Wert auf eine direkte Strandlage legt, muss hier ca 300m laufen, um an einen Stein-Sandstrand zu gelangen. Wasserschuhe sind hier und auch an vielen anderen Stränden auf Kreta von Vorteil. Für uns aber kein konkreter Negativpunkt. All inclusive für bestimmte Getränke ist auf 10.30-23.00Uhr begrenzt, hat uns aber auch nicht sonderlich gestört. Dies sollen keine Kritikpunkte sein, nur Anmerkungen für zukünftige Gäste.

+: Alles! Traumhafter Urlaub! Das Hotel ist wunderschön, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen ist auch sehr gut! Es gibt Abendveranstaltungen und insgesamt 3 Pools mit jeweils einer Bar!
-: Die Getränke. Wir hatten das All inclusive Angebot und die Getränke waren qualitativ leider nicht sehr hochwertig. In jedem Getränk war extrem viel Sirup drinnen (auch in den Detox Getränken usw). Cocktails und andere Getränke gab es nur abends kostenlos. Und der Wein schmeckt massiv nach Essig. Bei einem All inclusive sollte es keine Einschränkung der Getränke geben und die Qualität sollte besser sein.
