+: The location was excellent! If you are hesitating between this villa and any other villa on the island, CHOOSE OLIA VILLA! As a luxury villa owner myself, I notice the small things. So when Ion greeted our large group (3 adults, 3 children + infant), I was pleasantly surprised to receive a welcome tour of the villa, along with personal tips on where to go (and where not to bother going). Our housekeeper was lovely (and patient) and came daily, which is needed with so many kids. She always had a smile. The views were spectacular. We were fortunate to not have any neighbors because, as in most Villas on the Caldera, you are close to your neighbors’ outdoor space.  in this case, the outdoor area with the pool and the amazing views, abuts neighboring property (like every other residence in the area). However, what makes this property stand out is the fact that it is one of the highest points on the caldera and there are two other spectacular places to relax outdoors. The entrance boasts a gorgeous terrace with ample seating. Better than that is the rooftop with multiple loungers and a sofa and table, all perfect for catching sunrise and sunsets, WITHOUT seeing neighbors. We stayed Oct 18-25, 2023, so it was the end of the season, but we still had excellent weather. The pool was heated… and actually warm. Additionally, the location was spectacular because you could drive to the front door of the villa, which is important of staying with kids. Finally, our host was always just a quick WhatsApp message away, with excellent recommendations for EVERYTHING!
