+: The room and facilities are great, as expected of a 5 star hotel. But, the best part of Layana is the friendly staff who are always smiling and greeting you anywhere you go in the resort. The breakfast buffet is also amazing with lots of variety. One of the best places we stayed in Thailand.

-: Quite a few mosquitoes, but the resort gave us repellant and incense in the room, which helped a lot.

+: Very good stay at layana. The staff and Franck the manager are very nice and happy to help. Wonderful pool close to a long white sand beach. I totally recommend for a quiet stay.

-: Breakfast could more diversified

+: Beautiful property and located beside a lovely beach - lovely pool, beautiful tropical architecture. Best part of our stay was the staff - the manager Franck greeted us personally and was always around talking to guests, the front desk manager Tour was so helpful with suggestions. We had a late flight and they wrote us a personal letter telling us about the arrangements for facilities and transport - so well organized and thoughtful. All staff were so welcoming and friendly.

+: Everything about this hotel is incredible! The staff go out of their way to make it a memorable experience and by the end of the stay, they felt like friends. The location is incredible, incredible service at all times and reasonably priced. The little touches make this hotel really special (I won’t say as it’s a nice surprise for others).The breakfast was by far one of the best buffet breakfasts we have ever had in Asia.We cannot wait to come back to Layana for another stay in the future.

-: There is a lot of building worn on site currently, renovating properties. Whilst this does not bother me and we understand it needs to be done, it did cause a lot of noise. We would have liked to have been warned about this before our stay but understand that building work has to happen.
