+: It was my second time staying at the Istanbul Life Hotel (and fifth time in the city), and I think it's a great place to stay if you've been to Istanbul before and want to stay in a less touristy area. The main attractions are still just a ferry ride away, you can explore many other places, for example the Prince Island are easier to reach, and the hotel itself is surrounded by a lively neighbourhood with some of the city's best restaurants and a nice seaside promenade. Sabiha Gökçen airport can be accessed by metro without change of line. Also, we liked the breakfast!

-: The only thing is, if you love spacious hotel rooms, this hotel may not be for you. It was fine for us though.

+: Location is so good!

-: - The breakfast is a big disappointment! - very small shower

+: Really good location - nearby to the harbour and center with all the restaurants and bars. Huge advantage is a direct transport possibilities to both airports SAW and IST.

-: I stayed in double room for non smokers. Unfortuntely, the reality is nowhere near to the website's pictures. The room was dark and absolutely not practical. Poor internet connection and quite limited brakfast options. Generally, I expected much more for such price, especially that the area nearby is respectively cheaper than the rest if Istanbul.
