+: The location was convenient. This made moving around easy for my needs in stone town. The workers at the breakfast area were friendly and did what they could with what they had.

-: I didn't like the fact that the room category didn't live up to the pictures online. The stories given when I asked for a second room key card was beyond absurd for a (4 star hotel). The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Lets see... Lifeless bread, tired chapati, poor fruit quality, juice that just isn't, butter that doesn't melt sitting on an uncovered plate outside, you can choose between orange marmalade in small plastic pots or peanut butter or honey - end of story, toaster not really working properly, hot water for your instant coffee or your tea..... that is your 4 star breakfast. The price point for my room??? (supposedly the best room in the hotel, but, clearly that's a whole other conversation. Why pay extra for a higher room category to discover that the room isn't bigger and the balcony has rotted out chairs and no space to even sit outside! RIP OFF!! I don't like to complain, but when I feel that people are playing with my intelligence I have a problem. Yes! I am open for a refund should anyone out there hear me!

-: Apesar de ostentar o nome da cadeia "Best Western" o hotel não permite a associação do cartão de cliente, pois indica que não faz parte do Programa de fidelização da cadeia Best Western... O número dos andares não corresponde ao dos quartos, o que leva a alguma confusão. O pequeno-almoço é pouco variado.
