+: The food was all very tasty. The pool was lovely and the resort was right on the water. It was a short walk (5 minutes) to the "beach" area where you could rent beach chairs and umbrellas (and order fooddrinks delivered to you), OR you could put down a beach towel and enjoy the views. The local beach was very clean and safe and the water was lovely (waves weren't very big).

-: Sometimes the waits were long - or we had to go elsewhere (especially for dinner if no reservation was made first). The service was frequently slow, but the view (next to the ocean) made the longer waits more enjoyable. We noticed the service was slow at many restaurants we visited though. When on the beach area - be ready for the vendors to come to you... constantly. For the most part they are good when you say "no, gracias" but sometimes they try to push their wares. Bring cash for the beach things (like chairsumbrellasdrinksvendors), credit card security isn't very reliable with the street vendors (restaurants are fine for credit cards).

+: Amazing location - beautiful spot on the ocean and very close to main drag of Cabarete

-: No immediate access to beach, as the property sits right on the point where there is no contiguous beach, it’s very rocky. Actual beach access is short walk away

+: We loved how quiet it was, it is a fairly small place so we loved not having crowds, very relaxing, super clean, the staff is really great and the location is unbeatable! Restaurant great too

-: you can’t really swim right in front of the hotel but the beach is a short walk from the hotel so not a big deal AND there is no coffee option in the room so I wish there was some coffee option earlier than 8am when breakfast starts

+: The staff were exceptional, the room and bathroom were extra large, ac worked great, had an ocean view, and breakfast by the ocean was a dream.

-: I mean, maybe the stair to the 3rd floor, just to say something, but everything was great, really.

-: Pas d'eau fourni dans les chambres. Pas de verre pour boire. Rien pour étendre les affaires de piscine. En bref aucun service.
