+: The best thing was the view. It was fantastic, it was a pleasure to sit on the terrace in the evening and enjoy the view! The whole town and the see bay from above! Or swim in the pool and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. The beds were comfortable, there was a little lack of chairs in the room, 2 for 3 people... There was also no stove, but for us it was ok because we had booked it with dinner. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, lots of greens, different dishes every night, also Cretan national, our thanks to the cook!

-: Everything was mostly nice, sometimes there was no warm water in the shower in the evenings, our terrace was almost next to the neighbor's balcony. If you don't have a car, you have to walk 15 minutes to the bus stop on a steep street, but we didn't have a problem with that! It is also almost 1 km to the beach with sand, but we love walking.

+: Staff were very friendly. Pool area clean. Our room was very spacious, clean with a beautiful view over Stalis. About a 15 minute walk into town which meant it was very peaceful

-: Up a steep hill, to hotel then steps to apartments. The baby pool was not cleaned once, even after we asked if it could be cleaned. We were not able to use it at all during the whole stay. Dead flies, wasps, and dirt around the edges and bottom. Was told it was due to the location. However, we have stayed in locations like this before and never had

+: Die Sauberkeit in der Anlage und der grandiose Ausblick auf Stalis. Der Weg zum Strand beträgt zwar rund einen Kilometer, ist aber in zehn Minuten problemlos zu erreichen.

-: Zu Gast bei Freunden.......aber nur, wenn der Umsatz an der Poolbar stimmt! Von der in anderen Rezensionen oft positiv erwähnten familiären Atmosphäre haben die Gäste profitiert, die sich täglich abends in das Herz des Barkeepers getrunken haben! Nachdem wir uns nicht dazugesellt haben, wurde uns eine eher verhaltene Freundlichkeit bis Ignoranz entgegengebracht. Die vielen positiven Bewertungen können wir absolut nicht nachvollziehen.Die kostenpflichtige Klimaanlage (8 Euro pro Tag) wurde zwar im Buchungsvorgang vorab bei booking.com aufgelistet, was wir allerdings in einem südlichen Land mit Temperaturen bis zu 40 Grad im Sommer nicht nachvollziehen können! Dass man die Klimaanlage tagsüber nicht laufen lassen kann, könnte man noch akzeptieren, jedoch kann man sie darüber hinaus nur in Betrieb nehmen, wenn der Schlüssel in den dafür vorgesehene Licht-Slot eingesteckt wird. Im Klartext: Wenn man abends auf der Terrasse sitzt und die Apartmenttüre schließt, ist die Klimaanlage aus. Man kann die Türe aber auch nicht mal einen kleinen Spalt geöffnet lassen und den Schlüssel in den Licht-Slot stecken, da dann auch keine Klimaanlage mehr lief. Im Rahmen des Insel-Hoppings warwn wir auch auf anderen griechischen Inseln zu Gast und hatten in keinem anderen Hotel eine kostenpflichtige Klimaanlage. In Kombination mit dem Verbot eigene Getrânke mit an den Pool in den Poolbereich zu nehmen, wirkte es auf uns so, als möchte man hier bei jeder Gelegenheit noch einen Extra-Euro verdienen.Unser Apartment an sich war in Ordnung, das Bad war sauber. Jedoch erfolgte die erste Zimmerreinigung erst am dritten Tag.Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war begrenzt: Toast, Bacon, Ei, Marmelade, immer die zwei gleichen Sorten Wurst und als Käse nur Feta. Vielleicht als kleiner Tipp: Man sollte Butter, Milch, Joghurt u. ä. bei Temperaturen von schon morgens knapp 30 Grad, nicht direkt an der offenen Glastüre der Sonneneinstrahlung aussetzen!
