+: Location wise this hotel is fantastic. The breakfast is fantastic! Both in quality and range of food as well as the view of the acropolis. Pool area great! The foyer is exquisite but that’s about where it ends.
-: The rooms were basic at best. The air conditioning unit was caked with dust on the vents. I’m not sure if it actually worked or not as we didn’t want it blowing dust all over us. One side had minimal air coming out so it possibly could have been on. I made 2 request for a large double bed and a single in our room. Upon arrival the large double was two singles pushed together. Yes that’s what a king bed is in other hotels but they make the bedding up as one bed. This was still made as two bed with the sheets. I had also requested a 2pm check in. I understand this isn’t always possible. We arrived much earlier and was informed by the rude lady at reception that check in would be 3pm. There was people and bags everywhere in the foyer. We asked again about 2:15 and were able to get to our room thankfully. Water pressure in the pokey shower was pretty much non existent but the hand basin had good pressure to wash hands and clean teeth. On the 2nd day we asked for no room servicecleaning but just clean towels at 8am. At 5pm we needed to go down to reception to request new towels as they hadn’t been delivered. Lighting in the room is minimal. A floor lamp, a bedside lamp and a light as you walk in the door as well as a light in a small deskalcove area. But no lights in main area. Upon talking to other guests in the pool area, they said how rude the lady on reception was and they found the men lovely. So it can’t have just been us. In saying that we did have another lovely lady on reception but this one lady didn’t set a great first impression
