+: The room is large and the balcony looks out onto some beautiful green space.

-: 1. Poorly trained staff - no or that’s not possible is the dominant response to almost any request. 2. Complete confusion with bills, billing, receipts and all orders at the restaurant. Young staff are struggling with understanding and communicating multiple issues. 3. reception area is particularly poor in terms of management and communication. 4. Service can be just really poor at times. I also witnessed some unhygienic practices (but I can’t speak to this being consistent)

+: The rooms are good. Nice balcony. ToiletsShowers are great. Stick to your room and you are flying.

-: This hotel apparently is in transition. Total confusion on bookings. Total confusion on billing. Total confusion on room service. The reception is really a mess. Staff training and support for young staff is needed across the whole place. It's a pity, because the location is nice. I think this it the type of hotel is one worth considering in Kandy but give a call first - if you don't think reception is able to handle a few questions - then it hasn't improved. But when it does, it'll be a fine hotel again. Apparently it was very much so in the past

+: Location was very picturesque. Food was delicious, especially the desserts, had a good variety to choose from. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

+: Nothing. The worst hotel ever in Booking.com, don’t go there.

-: Dirty carpets, dirty walls, really dirty bathroom, dirty bedsheet. Please check the photos.Mold and weird smell in the room.The pictures on Booking are fake, it is a scam!The staff are slow and they don’t speak English very well and they don’t understand, what you are saying. Please do not visit this hotel.

+: Gorgeous room and pool. Pool side food was very good. Staff worked hard

-: Expensive breakfast and flies. Corridors needed a lick of paint and a hoover

-: I want to be as fair as I can.... I believe this hotel is badly managed and some staff needs training. And im giving my judgment on the basis that this is a 4 star hotel.First the checkin took a long time although i arrived at 5 the room was not ready!!! and they gave me a room without towels I had to call several times to get towels and even next day when they cleaned the room they didnt change towels... apparently towels is a big problem there.In the coridor u see dirty plates on the floor!!!!people finished thier food in the room and put the plates on the door and simply it stays there for hours !!!Also I woke up one night at 3 am I realized that I do not have any water left so I called the recieption they told me the kitchen is closed I need to wait till the morning ... what a joke... Also third point is that the safe does not open I called them to open it they said only the manager have the keys and he is not there.... One incedent I was on the pool and ordered 2 drinks they tried to make me sign on a second bill for things I never ordered!!!!There was some insects on the bed ( insect that looks like a flying ants)For the above reasons I will never come back to this hotel... I do want to stress that most of the staff are kind and helpful but I think its all about bad management and quality control.The food is Ok
