+: stunning hotel with beautiful decor & charm and stunning views. The cleaning team were excellent with regular, routine housekeeping checks. The pool area and surrounding ocean views are just divine. We were also offered a complimentary 15 mins foot massage which was a really nice touch. A number of stand out key team members: such as the lovely chef (Dominic), the attentive male head of restaurant and the very efficient & friendly female south African receptionist (apologies for the lack of names)

-: The hotel is secluded and taxis or a driver is required to get around the island. It takes a good 1.5hrs to visit many of the places of interest and the hotels charge extortionate prices for their taxi services. On top of that their taxi service isn't even reliable for the return pick up. We were left stranded on more than one occasion! There is no beach here.

+: The staff is extremely friendly and service minded. We had a problem with warm water in the room and we received another room. Also the after service is very well. We also recommened snorkling, boat from hotel. Everything was perfect.

-: Pratiques malhonnêtes ! Mon séjour dans cet établissement de luxe, dont le tarif à quatre chiffres laissait présager une expérience exceptionnelle, s'est transformé en un cauchemar. Ma mère a soudainement subit une intolérance clinique grave, nous contraignant à interrompre précipitamment notre voyage (preuves médicales à l'appui). Malheureusement, la réponse du personnel à nos multiples courriels a été décevante, limitée à des promesses vagues de rappels futurs. Notre demande d'annulation est restée sans réponse, et notre réservation est demeurée active sur Booking, malgré notre demande d'annulation. Cette situation est bien plus qu'un simple manquement au service client. Elle représente une forme flagrante de mensonge et de vol. Initialement prévue comme une réservation annulable et remboursable, j'avais modifié quelques jours à peine avant ma réservation pour rajouter une nuit et pris le seul tarif présenté : non annulable. En tant que directrice de deux établissements hôteliers à Hossegor, je m'attendais à ce que les valeurs de professionnalisme et d'empathie soient partagées par mes pairs. Cependant, cette expérience a mis en lumière des pratiques peu scrupuleuses qui ternissent l'image de l'industrie hôtelière. Il est décevant de constater que tous les hôtels ne partagent pas les mêmes standards éthiques. Espérons que cet avis serve à sensibiliser d'autres voyageurs à la nécessité de choisir des établissements axés sur l'intégrité et le respect envers leurs clients. Lauriane DUBOS
